I have finished the first draft of a book which I have called All My Love, Bob. It is a compilation of the the letters that my grandfather wrote to my grandmother while he was off in the Navy serving on the HMS Rajah during the Second World War. The letters are really cute and tell an interesting story of their relationship and what life was like on the ship. The letters are one-sided – just the ones my grandfather wrote to my grandmother – which originally disappointed me, but I have realized it actually makes me more interested in the story, trying to piece together and guess what the other letters may have said.
